MUSIC / GUIDE
Explore world events
World-oriented programmes can introduce music across regions and genre boundaries. Instruments, voices and rhythms become a route into unfamiliar recordings through DJ selection or live playing. Because the label is very broad, the announced artists and formats matter particularly here.
How to choose a session
- Try the regions, instruments, artists and recordings mentioned in the announcement.
- Check for DJ selections or live playing, and a dance-led or listening-led format.
