Who writes here
djeventsearch is run by a small anonymous editorial team that observes Tokyo's local DJ scene night after night. Our pieces aren't personal accounts; they're edited from multiple nights of observation, official venue channels, and conventions we've watched repeat on the floor.
How we work
Three steps:
- Observe — every night we collect X home timeline activity, venue official channels, on-the-ground observation, and flyer images.
- Confirm — anything that can change (prices, last train, opening hours) gets reconfirmed against the venue / organizer's own channels, and the article body marks the observation date.
- Edit — we use LLM editorial passes as an internal tool, but every piece is reviewed by an editorial team member before publishing.
What we don't write
- PR or promotional pieces for specific venues
- Fabricated personal accounts ("I was nervous my first time too")
- Absolute guarantees of safety or enjoyment
- Named criticism of specific venues or organizers
- Drug-use guides; anything directed at people under 20
Corrections
When we notice errors we update updatedAt and, where it matters, log the change at the foot of the article. Contact: [email protected].
AI disclosure
We use large language models (Claude / Codex etc.) as an internal drafting tool. Every piece is reviewed by a team member before publishing — we don't ship AI prose unread.
