MUSIC / GUIDE

Explore jazz events

Jazz-oriented DJ events offer a way to follow instrumental interplay and different timbres through a selector's records. Focused listening and transitions towards funk or dance music can lead to very different sessions. A jazz tag does not by itself mean a live concert, so check the format.

How to choose a session

  • Distinguish record-listening sessions from programmes with live playing or jams.
  • Listen for jazz, jazz-funk and dance-oriented selections in the DJs' recordings.
