MUSIC / GUIDE
Explore dubstep events
Dubstep sessions offer low-end weight, space in the rhythm and changes in sound texture. Restrained selections and more drop-driven programmes can both fall under the label. A mix from the DJs is a useful guide to the direction and energy of the event.
How to choose a session
- Listen for spacious selections or a stronger emphasis on large drops.
- Check accompanying bass styles and the other performers on the programme.
