Tokyo club flyers look like cryptic price grids when you don’t speak the code. They’re all English abbreviations, just compressed weirdly.
Reading the codes
1D — 1 Drink, the drink-inclusive system (detail here)
W — With (“with the drink”). “1D W” = drink-included entry.
WO — Without. “1D WO” = entry only, no drink ticket.
D / Door — Day-of, paid at the door.
Adv / Advance — Pre-sale.
Early — Early bird, time-limited (e.g., “before 23:00”).
w/flyer — With flyer, paper-flyer discount.
Student — Student-ID discount.
Guest — Guest-listed price (guest list).

Less common codes
NF (No Flyer) — no flyer discount this night.
RSVP required — message the organizer beforehand to attend. Often underground / invite-cultured parties.
Email required — email registration to enter. Invite-only.
Members only — closed.
RSVP and Email-required parties effectively require scene connection. Don’t take it personally — these are calibrated for trust and continuity.
Where on the flyer
Price info is most often:
Bottom-right corner, small text.
Right under the title on minimal flyers.
End of the detail block, after the lineup.
For photo-heavy flyers, prices may be only on the organizer’s X / Instagram, not on the image itself. Hunt those for current details.
Actual pricing changes — always confirm on the venue or organizer’s own channels before going.
